The club flying field is located about 6 miles south of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, on the southwest corner of Highway 93 and County Road HH, about 1 mile west of Cleghorn. The club picnic shelter is located at approximately +44° 40' 37.33", -91° 26' 28.35", with the field immediately to the North.
Here is a nice aerial view of the field taken from just west of the field. North is toward the left of the picture. The picnic pavilion is just south of the field. The shed is near the trees south and east of the pavilion. A small paved landing strip can be see at the southeast corner of the field. The dirt entrance road can be seen just west of the field (between the dirt field and the flying field toward the bottom of the picture). Directions for getting to the field can be found below.
Directions from Eau Claire: Follow Highway 93 south approximately 6 miles south from I-94. Turn left (east) on County Road HH. The entrance is on the right (south) side of the road about two tenths of a mile east of Highway 93. The entrance address is E4125 in Pleasant Valley. Look for the Indianhead Country R.C. Modelers sign just inside the gate. Follow the dirt road about one tenth of a mile winding south and east. Continue on the same dirt road three tenths of a mile east. Continue to follow the road for about one tenth of a mile south. This is about the only point where there is more than one direction you can go. Turn right (heading east) and continue about two tenths of a mile. Continue on the dirt road south for two tenths of a mile. Park on the south side of the field.
Membership is required to fly at the site.
